Catharsis in Tragedy
Music and Laughter
Adventure
Saving the World
Unexpected Connections
Making Right of Our Wrongs
Redemption

The Right Brain Project's 2013 season is a time of new experiments and journeys to places we've never been. We will reinvent an old script for a contemporary audience and find joy and catharsis. We will set out on an adventure full of music and laughter and find a familiar friend wearing a new face. We will be thrust into an unexpected relationship forcing us to deal with the sins of the past and claim our redemption.

With new faces, new approaches to staging, and a renewed excitement to exploring the boundaries of what an intimate theatre experience can be, the RBP couldn't be more excited about this strong follow-up to last year's ambitious season. We will exploit our brand of epic minimalism to celebrate the human experience...

March 2013

The RBP has assembled yet another large cast of actors with the objective of diving into Euripides' classic tragedy, tearing it apart, and reinventing it (and ourselves) to deliver a theatre experience that is immediate and transcendent. We will explore the relationship between humanity and the divine, the relationship between the state and gender roles, primal instinct, responsibility, and desire. The Right Brain Project's The Bacchae is not content to simply tell a story - we will share a piece of ourselves and invite our audience to partake of this intimate and personal journey with us.

May 2013

Malevolent forces from every corner of the galaxy tremble at his name, and humanity owes him a debt of gratitude countless times over. Brothers McKenzie and Justin Gerber have penned a love letter to an infamous Doctor in the RBP's summer production, and you're invited! Come with us on an adventure past the barriers of time and space! Full of song, laughter, and wonder... And we have more than a few tricks up our sleeves. This show is for all ages, performing late nights and matinees!

Hammer

October 2013

Over five years ago, Hammer began to take shape from the smallest of nightmares. This piece served as an introduction for RBP company member Stephen Gawrit (playwright/director), over three years ago, to co-artistic director Nathan Robbel. Hammer is an exploration into the sins of the past and how they are carried into the afterlife. From fallen angels, the rebirth of Christ, the cannibalization of the devil; audiences will embark on a phantasmagorical voyage with a cast of 13 actors to the island of purgatory.
