Colby Sellers
Executive Director (Co-Founder)

  

Colby is a founding member and current executive director of the RBP . For the RBP , he co-wrote with fellow founder Nathan Robbel A Buck Twenty-Fiver per Load . He wrote and directed Just Pretend, acted in The Empire Builders, A Devil Inside, as well as in all four productions of The Complete Works…(Abridged).

 

Other Chicago credits include work with Dream Theatre Company in both SlowAnna, and Antigone, which was recently dubbed “Highly Recommended” by the Chicago Reader. Colby has also acted, written, and taught stage combat workshops in Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa.

By day, Colby works at the Shedd Aquarium as a performance specialist. His duties include narrating the Marine Mammal Presentations (the dolphin show), as well as delivering educational programming to families, schools, and anyone else who cares to learn. Colby plans to continue to grow as an actor, writer, and all-around theatre artist while helping others do the same.
